Sign the petition: West End urgently needs our second ferry terminal

It’s now been over a decade since we were promised a much-needed second CityCat terminal at the end of Victoria Street in West End.

At the moment, there is no terminal between Orleigh Park and South Bank, meaning thousands of West End residents have no way of catching the ferry. A new ferry terminal would connect locals to UQ, the City, and help reduce congestion along Montague Road.

But instead of funding our long promised ferry terminal, the LNP Council are cutting developer infrastructure charges by up to 75% (and Labor is backing these developer tax cuts). What this means in practice is: more profit for the big developers who are cramming towers into West End and less money for much-needed local infrastructure like a second ferry terminal.

With the Council election just around the corner, now is the perfect time to ramp up the pressure on Labor and LNP's Lord Mayor candidates to fund our ferry terminal.

Will you sign?

We call on Adrian Schrinner, LNP Lord Mayor and Tracey Price, Labor candidate for Lord Mayor: commit to scrapping the developer tax cuts and use this money to urgently build a CityCat terminal on the western side of West End.
